So I didn't get our blog updated once while we were out of town. I decided it would be to much work to transfer all of the photos back over to my computer when we got home and we had taken Craig's. This first picture is of the boys waiting for the ticket counter to open up at the Salt Lake airport on mothers day. They were both excited to go to California for the week and a little disapointed that we couldn't leave right after they got out of school on Friday.
We got to Long Beach early afternoon so decided to go on into the park. This is our first disney related picture that we took. Kind of blury but it says Let the Memories Begin at the Disneyland Resort.
And here we are waiting in line to get into the park.
Craig just finished the book Abraham Lincoln Vampire Slayer so he wanted to go to the Abraham Lincoln exhibit to compare notes. Walt Disney's version of events was very different then the book that he had read. He completely forgot to mention the vampire problems that the nation was having at the time. But then I guess that he was trying to keep it family friendly and not scary for the little kids in the audience.
And here we have Jacob always wanting to pose for a picture.
They might not have talked about vampires in the exhibit but we did see a ghost. He is holding this curtain up.
We stayed at the doubletree in city center right there by the park. We had never stayed at this particular double tree before. It was nice but the other over by the convention centers is still our favorite in the area. Jacob thought that it was important to get pictures of the rooms.
Jacob asked me to close the door for this picture. I think that it is the first time that he has asked to not be in a picture.
Zach noticed that this picture on the wall looks like there is a hidden mickey in it.
The park was very crowded on mothers day but we still had fun being together hope that all of you had a great mothers day also.
