Correction and a rephrase.....Off with his beard.
So Papa hasn't shaved since his shoulder surgery and decided for FUN to let the grandkids shave his beard off. The general consensus is that this was a decision made while under the influence of some pretty major Pain Killers.
And here he is before.
As you can tell the kids were prety anxious to get started.
Zach was the first one up and I am thinking that papa looks like those meds are wearing off here he is looking a little nervous.
Jacob managed to only nick his ear three times. He probably felt that the next morning.
Sam's kids were going to take over here but decided they didn't want to.
So my boys took another slice or two out of him.
I didn't get an after picture cause with all the blood and gore we decided not to document so this is the last shot. We will be going back in a week or two to finish the job:)
The boys had a lot of fun doing this and thought it would be fun if dad would let them try on him next time. Craig says there aren't enough pain pills in the world.
And for those of you that might have been nervous or worried about papa don't be he is fine. No papa's were injured in the making of this blog post. Believe it or not there really wasn't even any blood shed his shirt finished as white as at started.
