The pool had reached the point where it was just to unbearable to spend any amount of time in it was 98 degrees. So we decided to go get some dry ice and cool it off. We stood on either side of the pool and submerged a green bag full of ice halfway into the pool. This kept any of it from escaping and touching the sides of the pool.
It took about an hour of bubbling fogginess I didn't realize that dry ice would take so long to melt. But when it was all said and done the final temp was 86 degrees. And it felt wonderful. Craig has been out of town for a week now and missed out on the fun but hopefully when he gets home the pool will still be a more comfortable temp.
