More disney

There are no people in these pictures just some I wanted to post.  I thought that this bush was beautiful.

I really liked the view here we sat down to take a rest and it was nice and cool.

I guess anything is possible in disneyland including walking on water.

This police car was cute I want to check into getting one.

This fountain is pretty.

Don't these flowers look almost like little peppers hanging from the tree.

Characters

They had the red carpet event for the new Pirates movie before we got there.  The only sign we saw of Johnny Depp though was on the news in the hotel afterwards.  They were gone by the time that we got there.  So this is the closest that the boys got to being into a picture with "Capt. Jack".

We were walking into the store off the page in California adventures and happened to see stitch standing there with nothing to do.  So we went over for a picture and didn't even have to wait in line.  Even better.

This counts as an alien character picture right?

Dale but we never even caught a glimpse of chip.

I think this is the racoon from pocahontas.

We thought that this was pretty cool.

And of course the boys love the Darth Vadar out of legos.

Rides

It's hard to get pictures on the rides but we did get a few.  I rode with Zach on autopia and was able to snap this one.  Almost lost the camera in the process his driving skills are questionable at best.  The car riding next to us asked if I would like to join them at one point.  They found his driving very entertaining.

Jacob got a brain scan at innoventions.

I tried to convince everybody that if they would decide that the tram was their favorite ride we could ride it all day with no real wait over and over.  They didn't think it was a good idea.

Blasting off with Buzz.

This picture is kind of funny since two of the three subjects in it have their eyes closed.

And the tram again.

Waiting in line

Generally when we go to disneyland we go when we don't have to deal with a lot of crowds.  It wasn't bad this time but there was more of a crowd then we are used to dealing with.  We waited in some lines.  They weren't bad the longest one was toy story mania in California adventures but that line is always bad.  Most of the rides we only waited about 5-10 minutes but there were a few that we waited for 20 and we even fastpassed soarin the one day cause it was about a thirty minute wait.  I know these aren't bad times for disneyland just more than what we are used to.

Of course waiting in line gives mom plenty of opportunities for pictures and the line Q's have all sorts of disney style picture spots.  Here we are in pooh this was the worst that we have ever seen it it was a five minute wait.  Although it didn't really feel like five minutes it seemed shorter.  I tell the kids that this is my favorite ride in disneyland cause there is never any line.  That makes monsters inc over on the california side my favorite for the same reason.

Here we are at Indianna Jones.

This was taken waiting to get into the parking garage the one morning.  See the bus there were a ton of school kids there for their last field trip of the year.  Jacob said he was going to suggest this to his teacher.  Good luck.

And here he is waiting in the car.

Waiting to go through security to get into the two parks.

Waiting for dad to hurry up through the turnstyle already;)  But at least this gives you time to pick up
2-3 maps per kid.  I don't know why they need that many since by the first ride I am usually carrying all of them anyway.

Waiting in line at peter pan.  This is one of the best rides in the park also, however there is always a wait of 30 minutes or more whenever you come.

Finally inside the building at peter pan.

Waiting at autopia.

We didn't actually ever have to wait at haunted mansion but the kids wanted to mail a letter.

It doesn't matter how long you wait outside of club 33 no one will ever come let us inside of there.

This was our one fastpass and it was at Soarin.

The line at toystory mania after we got to the point that we could get our 3-D glasses and yes it does help to where them before you actually get on the ride.  Or so the boys tell me.

In the line at Soarin.

Indy was shut down at this point so we didn't make it onto it again.  Otherwise we would have fastpassed this one as you can see it was a 25 minute wait before they shut it down.
