Pinewood derby

We had the pinewood derby for the cubscouts back in April.  The track that they rented was a lot of fun and everyone there had a great time.

This next picture has Jacob's car in it.  His is the green with red wheels on the far left it has a skull and crossbones in red on the hood.  Each boy got to race 6 times and Jacob came in 2nd in every race he was in which put him in 6th overall. 

Thanks to the great scout leaders who put a lot of hard work into this activity.



Happy Anniversary to us!

Today is our 15th wedding anniversary.  Sometimes it is hard to believe that it has been 15 years already, and to be honest I have to admit there are those days when it is hard to believe it has only been 15 years.  However I wouldn't trade any of it for anything I will take the good with the bad any day of the year as long as I have my family with me.  I love my husband more then words can express even though it sounds cliche it is true I can't begin to express how blessed I have been and how grateful I am for those wonderful blessings in my life but mainly my three boys. 

For our anniversary this year Craig gave me the gift that keeps on costing (ha ha).  Yes a pandora bracelet.  Even though I joke I absolutely love it.  The boys even picked out a charm each early for mothers day.  That is interesting watching them try and pick out a charm especially Jacob.  Well I saw a bird in the yard the other morning when I was outside with mom so I think a bird is a good charm.  But they both did finally settle on their favorite animals and they are so cute.

To make sure that our day was extra special and exciting Zach decided to wake us up in the middle of the night for a fun filled trip to our local ER. 

 

He refused to let me take his picture but allowed for this picture of his IV that they were using for blood draws.  He has been having an ache in his right side (tests have ruled out appendicitus multiple times) he had been to the dr and we were watching it but the pain escalated last night and he was shaking and in pain so we went to the ER.  He seem to be ok all the tests are showing he is healthy so we are waiting another day and then they will start ordering some more tests if things haven't gotten better.  So fingers crossed and keep in your thoughts and prayers I am sure that everything will be fine but he just doesn't feel good in the mean time.

The Avengers

We went to see the Avengers on Saturday and all I can say was it was freakin awesome.  Yes that is from me and not one of the kids.  When everyone decided that they wanted to go I said that is fine but please go without me a ticket was purchased for me anyway so I had to go.  I am so glad that I did.  I have to admit it did take me a few to get into it the only character I knew was Ironman but I liked everyone else and would even be willing to watch the other movies.  The boys might go see it again without me so they can see it in 3-D since that gives me a headache we didn't see it that way but I am sure that they will enjoy it just as much if not more. 

Zach no longer will pose with Jacob for pictures at the theater but Jacob is still on the lookout for anything to take his picture with, we only saw one thing.

Oh and one other thing spoiler alert I was dissapointed in only one thing my favorite character was killed you know Richard from Old Christine.  I just love him and thought he should have lived, sorry.
