Happy Halloween!

We are officially ready for halloween.  The last yard ornament is out and that is our big blow up.  We always save it till the last few days before. 

We found this ghost at target this year and thought we needed him.  He is the perfect size for the front of the house.

And last but absolutely not least is The Doctor and a dalek.  Bow ties are cool or so I am told.  And yes he even has his very own sonic screw driver.

Cub scouts fire safety

We had fire safety at cubscouts this week.  The Taylorsville Firemen came and talked to the boys about fire safety, their jobs, their suits and finished up with allowing them to time the one fireman as he got dressed for a fire.

The final time.........52 seconds.  This was a lot of fun and very interesting, not to mention who doesn't love cute firemen:)

Jacob also got his bobcat we are so proud of him he did great.



Another cute halloween display

This is on a house a couple of blocks over from our neighborhood, but we drive by and see it every year.  They light it up and play spooky music after dark and some of the things even move.

Zach had his percussion concert today, I would like to load a couple of the songs on here to share but haven't been able to.  Hopefully in the next couple of days I can figure out why it isn't working and load them.  While I am working on that everyone will have to sit on the edge of their seats anticipating it:)



Another halloween house

This house is over by my parents and every year they add a couple of more monsters.  We always like to slow down and take a look coming and going.

The exorcist girl climing the wall is my favorite.

I forgot to shut my flash off on this one but I like the way that the sky looks in the background.

I saw this house over by Jacob's school the other day and it was so cute that I had to take a picture.  This is their side yard and it is full.

Provo River haunted cruise

Last night all of the cousins on my side went to the Provo River for the haunted river cruise.  Papa was out of town so we had to have enough fun for him also.  I didn't get any real good pictures since it was so dark but we did have fun.  We had all of the boys in our car but Zach ducked down right before my camera went off so he was there although I have no picture proof.

And these were some construction cones looking like pumpkins also on the side of the river.  Quality isn't great on the pictures but you get the idea. 



Pot of Gold and Rainbows

Taking Jacob to school the other morning I saw this rainbow.   So I snapped this picture at the stop light.  By the time I drove back by just about 3-5 minutes later you could no longer see it.  I didn't realize that they disappeared that quickly and was glad I got this picture. 

With Christmas just around the corner the boys have started feverishly working on their christmas lists.  I haven't received Zach's yet but was given Jacob's.  I wanted to share it cause I was very surprised at what was on there.

Not sure why he wants his own personal zoo or farm but that seems to be his theme for this year yes he wants all real animals and told me that he knows he won't get all of them probably only one or two.  He must have also been hungry when he came up with this list.  Next time I see a rainbow I will be out there looking for the pot of gold at the end of it since that is the only way I will be able to finance a farm.

Play time

We were at my parent's house this weekend.  Sometimes all the cousins play together and sometimes they seem to all want to do their own thing.  This was a week for play.  They built a box for two.  Jacob and Gage are inside.  They stayed there for a while since Craig told them that the first one out was a rotten egg.  After a few minutes they started complaining about it getting hot.

Then everyone decided to play super mario brothers this went ok for a few minutes till everyone started getting upset with Zach cause he kept leaving them all behind.

It was kind of funny although none of the kids thought so.

Jakson is chanting for Zach to die since at this point everyone else was very mad since they kept dying and felt that it was his fault.  

They didn't play for all that long this time since it isn't fun to play like that but while it lasted Sam, Craig and I found it very funny.



Old pictures

We pulled an SD card out of an old phone today to use in the ipad and guess what we found on it.  Some old pictures that we had forgotten completely about.  These were my favorite of what we had.  I can't believe how little the boys are.  The date was June of 08 but they seem younger to me.

I have been cleaning out my pictures on my computer and found this one.  This is a typical Zach moment, playing a game.  And this is also what Craig would say is typical of my car MESSY!  Oops .



Crazy Hair Day at School

The elementary school had crazy hair day a couple of weeks ago.  We took these pictures and then last night Jacob was looking at the blog and was very offended when the pictures hadn't been posted.  So here they are.  And yes this was a total pain to wash out of his hair.
