movies and snow

We went to see the first installment of the last Harry Potter movie today.  It was very good but a little long I guess I am glad that they split it into two.

We beat the snow home but it is really coming down now.

Day After

Well it is the day after Christmas and the boys are trying to wear out their new games.

I think it is so funny to watch them shake the wii remote.

Zach is still obsessing over his new gameboy.  Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend.

Merry Christmas!!!

Here it is before.

The first look.

This was the easy favorite.  Somebody obviously told Santa a fib.

These are their presents to each other.  They picked them out at disneyland the beginning of the month and they claim that they never told each other what they were.

Breakfast...I got this christmas bundt pan after christmas last year just for our annual breakfast cake.

And they lived happily ever after....

Merry Christmas everyone.

Christmas Eve

Yes only one day left.

Today is Christmas eve the 24th.  We decided to go see a movie as a family maybe this will have to be a new family tradition.

Yes we saw Tron on the IMAX in 3D.  It was really good I liked the new one better then the first one although we watched the first one last weekend and it was still good.

Of course we had to pose for pictures with the other posters.

This was really cool and we can't wait to see the new Pirates movie.

Then later on it was pj time.

We got pj's with footies in them this year cause we thought that they would be funny.  We have been trying to locate pink bunny pjs with pink bunny slippers on the feet for each of them, no luck so far.

Merry Christmas!!!!!

The threat of Santa has run its course.  We were informed this morning that he has already checked his list twice and votes are locked in.  So we will see how long it takes the boys to see this.

Christmas ornaments

My parents gave us this ornament on thanksgiving isn't it cute?

This is our christmas tree this year.

And of course here are the boys.  They can hardly wait till christmas which makes it virtually impossible I am told to get dressed.

Jacob wanted to post pictures of the Christmas decorations like we did halloween so here is the living room.  And remember it wouldn't be our house without everything being hooked up to remotes so that we can just hit the button and turn everything on yea.

It isn't christmas without Sandy Claws.  We love Jack.

Our disney village in the fireplace also comes on automatically with the lights out front when it gets dark.

This poinsetta we bought at Costco right after thanksgiving and it still looks pretty good we have tried to keep it alive and think it should be able to survive through christmas.  It is still pretty but was even prettier when we first bought it.  All of the stuffed animals sing or tell stories and we especially like them when they are all playing at the same time.

Gingerbread houses!

Grandma started doing gingerbread houses at her house for the grandkids last year.  We have a lot of pictures from this year and I am using all of them on the blog.  I didn't want to leave anyones pictures out.

Everyone was impressed with this giant icecicle haning from the side of Jacob's house. I really did mean to do that:) you believe me right?

Of course the powdered sugar for snow is my favorite part of the gingerbread house.  It's one of those fun things that everyone gets to enjoy.  All over the back of the car and the kitchen carpet.  It snows everytime they are moved.

Jakson.

Gage.

Zach's finished house.  That is a snow bank out of colored sprinkles and powdered sugar in the front of the house.

This is Paiges.

Jacob's.

Zach giving Jacob some kind of award.  It was candy and Jacob thought he was going to get something else I think.

Gage's.

Visiting Santa

I am afraid that this is my last picture of Zach with Santa.  I had to bribe him for this one and promise that I wouldn't ask for another picture after this year.  As you can tell he still wasn't happy about it.  Santa and Jacob both look really happy though.

And after they figured they could behave however they wanted since they had already reported on their behavior.

Pixar parade

Ok the last of the Disney trip pictures that I am going to post.  These are from the pixar parade over in California adventure.  The quality isn't very good at all but these were the best that I had.  The parade was really cute.

Merry Christmas!
